You’re staring at your phone screen and thoughts are swirling in every direction. You write. Then you delete. You write. Then you delete again.
Should I say “this” or “that”? No, but then they’ll think…”
Then you write. And you delete yet again.
Are you living in scenario-land? Spending countless hours scrutinizing situations from possibility A to Z or analyzing every word in your text or email messages?
What does he mean?” or “what is she “really” talking about?”
Then there are those days where we’re dissecting every word from a previous conversation we had looking for hidden meanings or torturing ourselves over what could have been said.
Before we take our next step, we analyze and analyze. We recreate, replay, and look for ways to decipher everything that is said or written to us.
And guess what? We’re stuck. Paralyzed.
We can’t move in any direction because we still haven’t figured out all of the possible future scenarios that can occur.
If we do this, then this could happen.” “But if we do that, then maybe this other thing will happen.”
We’re stuck in an endless cycle of “what if’s” and don’t realize the countless hours we spend in this pit of frustration. These are the hours that could have been used to finish that project you’ve been working on, to take that dance class you’ve been dreaming about, or to finally have that conversation you’ve been dreading for weeks.
Springing into action can set us up towards finding more joy and freedom versus more worry, fear, or anxiety.
Check out this week’s video and get ready to reduce overanalyzing!
Once you’ve watched the video and put some action into action, I want to hear all about it. Give me the details! Your story may just be the inspiration that another reader needs to see their life transformed too.
Thank you for jumping in and if you have a friend who needs to hear it too, share the love. I’ll be waiting with open arms.
With love & joy,
