Afraid of your To Do List? Dread looking at it?
- Ever have any nightmares involving endless sheets of papers that taunt you with To Do List items?
- Is your list wickedly multiplying by the minute?
- Do you feel like you’re drowning in to do’s that will never end?
To do lists or TDL’s have long been a source of anxiety for me. I can trace it back to my homework lists back in school. Each time I crossed off an item, two more made their way onto my list. It felt discouraging. It was overwhelming. And it definitely made me want to procrastinate.
I’m never going to have the time to do all of this,” I thought. “It just keeps piling up!”
Our to do lists will most likely always be there. It’s highly improbable that the day will come when you’ve crossed every single item off the list and you no longer have anything to add.
Since our To Do Lists will probably always be there, wouldn’t it make sense to change the way we look at it? I’m so glad it made sense to me!
Let’s SHIFT our perspective from dreading the list to deriving ENERGY and PURPOSE from it.
It’s time to reduce the overwhelm and anxiety it causes us and look for tools and strategies that will help us manage it. Goodbye procrastination! There isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution, but there are definitely countless resources to help us feel friendlier towards our lists.
Check out this week’s video to hear different strategies that have helped ME befriend MY To Do List!
Once you’ve watched the video and put a strategy into action, I want to hear all about it. Give me the details! Your story may just be the inspiration that another reader needs to see their life transformed too.
Thank you for jumping in and if you have a friend who needs to hear it too, share the love. I’ll be waiting with open arms.
With love & joy,
